don’t call it a comeback

Hello, all. 2023 wasn’t a big writing year for me (frankly, neither was 2022). I took a year off to move, to get married, to try and get my life together. Verdict is still out on that last one. BUT! I miss writing. I miss the literary community. I miss (not) winning contests! I am posting because I miss it all, and it may take me awhile to come back fully. I’m out of the groove of writing, editing, and submitting. I have a family, a job, a larger residence to maintain, and some personal goals unrelated to writing. But I am recommitted to writing again. I want to come up with some good stuff. More than anything, I want a book. Keep an eye out. xoxo, Charlotte
